What is this class about?
This course is excellent for beginner artists who are not yet familiar with resin and how to work with it. You’ll gain the confidence to get started as I go over all the basics to get you familiar with resin and how to use it. At the end of the course we will create a piece together as I walk you through my typical process for creating geode inspired resin art.
Learn how to use the app Procreate to help you create stunning representations of resin artworks to share with clients or to keep as references for yourself! Requirements for the class include purchasing Procreate for your personal use (available on iOS) and using an ipad with optional apple pencil for the best user experience.

This course is excellent for artists that want to level up their game when it comes to sketching out concepts for resin artwork, whether that be for personal use, or client work. Streamline your process and easily make adjustments to your designs. Represent actual stone accents, glitters, details and colors in your concept, helping you and your clients envision the artwork you set out to create!

Procreate is not a free app. It requires a one-time download fee of $12.99 exclusively in the app store.

Procreate is only available in iOS 14.4 or later. It is best used on an iPad, however, it is available for use on a cellphone through an app called Appropriate Pocket. Appropriate Pocket has almost all of the functionality of the iPad app, but it doesn't support the Apple Pencil.

I highly recommend using an apple pencil with this app to get the full functionality of pressure sensitivity when painting, but if you don’t have one, using your finger to draw will also work.
